Laura Gannon, CPA is founder of Gannon CPA, LLC. With over 20 years of experience helping businesses and individuals, Laura's passion is to help businesses grow and reach their full potential. Laura works primarily with closely held businesses as a trusted advisor.   

 

Laura keeps a strong pulse on industry trends and technologies and is a leader within her profession.  She simultaneously serves on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Society of CPA's, the Audit Committee, and the MAP committee and works proactively to improve the accounting profession for the next generation.  She has served in her community as a soccer coach, provided advisory and tax services to local non profits, and served for many years as Treasurer for a non profit for Huntington's Disease.

 

Laura spent several years working for a large regional public accounting firm that provided her with the skills and knowledge that fueled her passion and technological curiosity.  Prior to entering public accounting Laura worked in a tax law firm and for the Internal Revenue Service in both auditing and litigation support positions. She is a graduate of Bentley College with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

Laura is married to Simon Dolan and has three children.  In her spare time, she loves to cook (and eat), read, play basketball, soccer, ski, hike with her dog, go to the beach, and spend time outdoors.
